The Florida Legislature has statutorily recognized mitigation banks as a preferred solution for development impacted wetlands. Longleaf Mitigation Bank sells developers credits representing land that has been successfully preserved according to regulation. Once we've determined the appropriate amount of credits to sufficiently cover your project, Longleaf Mitigation Bank will prepare a "Credit Reservation and Purchase Agreement" for your approval. Agreement requires a 10% deposit to hold the credits for up to 180 days and full payment is due within 10 days of permit issuance.
